Luggage & Baggage Logistics
Light aircraft (Cessna Caravans) operating to safari airstrips strictly enforce a 15 kg (33 lbs) weight limit per passenger in soft-sided duffel bags (dimensions around 24" x 12" x 10") with no rigid frames or hard shells, because the cargo pods are compact.
Our airport logistics team meets you upon arrival at JKIA or Wilson Airport. We provide complimentary safari soft duffels if needed, repack your safari essentials, and safely store your large hard suitcases in our secure, climate-controlled Westlands vault facility (Nairobi). When you return from safari or land at your coastal beach resort in Diani/Mombasa, your stored bags are delivered straight to your hotel.
You don't need to stay at the airport. Our on-ground baggage team files the Property Irregularity Report (PIR), tracks your bag continuously on the WorldTracer network, collects the bag through customs once it arrives in Nairobi, and arranges direct driver or bush-flight delivery straight to your safari tent or resort.
Airlines charge heavy penalty fees at the airport check-in counter for excess baggage. When you alert your Mustuds agent at least 24 hours prior to flight departure, we pre-purchase additional baggage allowances through consolidated agent tiers at significantly lower rates.

We specialize in 100% private, customized safaris. You will have your own private customized 4x4 Land Cruiser with pop-up photographic roof, onboard cooler, Wi-Fi, and a dedicated Gold/Silver-certified KPSGA driver-guide tailored exclusively to your group's pace.
Our VIP airport greeter meets you at the jet bridge at JKIA or Wilson Airport, guides you through priority immigration and customs fast-track lanes, assists with baggage claim, and escorts you directly to your waiting private chauffeur vehicle.

Rather than acting as an inflexible mass-tour seller, we manage the crucial on-ground details that make your Kenya journey seamless.
We accept online payments via our certified Paystack gateway (supporting Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and M-PESA), as well as direct corporate bank wire transfers (USD, EUR, GBP, KES). All checkout requests are protected by cryptographic idempotency to eliminate any chance of double-charging.
For safari packages and advance flight logistics, you can pay a 30% or 50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation to secure lodge rooms, 4x4 land cruisers, and bush air seats. The final balance is strictly due 30 days prior to your travel departure date. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require 100% full payment upon booking.
Due to wilderness lodge prepayment contractual terms and government permit rules, our policy is strictly structured:
- Absolute Non-Refundables (100% forfeited): Gorilla tracking permits, domestic bush charters/scheduled flights, peak-season lodge reservations (July–October & Christmas/New Year), and promotional air tickets.
- 61+ Days Before Travel: Deposit is non-refundable; balance paid is refunded less a 15% administrative and reservation fee.
- 31 to 60 Days Before Travel: 50% cancellation fee applies.
- 0 to 30 Days / No-Show: 100% strictly non-refundable. No credits or refunds are granted.
We strongly require all clients to maintain comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance before departure.
